Depois de um mês nem tão frio quanto seria de se esperar, estamos entrando no mês anterior  a Primavera. E para celebrar o mês de agosto, nada melhor do que as flores da cerejeira. Com um tempo de florescer bem curto, as flores desta árvore representam a fragilidade e a beleza da vida na cultura japonesa. Um lembrete de que a vida é incrivelmente bela mas tragicamente curta. Se você tiver uma cerejeira perto de você aproveite bem as flores quando nascerem, porque dura pouco.

Assim como a vida. E por isto precisamos aproveitá-la ao máximo, gastar tempo com nossos amados, nossa família e amigos porque nunca sabemos quanto tempo temos com eles.

After a month that wasn’t as cold as one would expect, we’re now entering the month right before Spring. And to celebrate August there’s nothing better than a cherry blossom. In japanese culture, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and beauty of life – exactly because it last for such a short time. It’s a reminder of how life can be gorgeously beautiful and tragically short at the same time. If you have a cherry tree near you enjoy it’s blooms while you can.

In the same way, enjoy your life. Live it to the full and spend time with your beloved, family and friends. We never know how long we have to enjoy their company. And enjoy your month of August!
