Projeto Infância – 26/52 – Saudade | Missing them

Este fim de semana que passou, dois dos meus sobrinhos mais novos dormiram aqui em casa. Chegaram sexta e voltaram para casa domingo. Foram muitos colos, leitinhos, brincadeiras no balanço, cócegas, filmes (O malvado favorito, Lorax, O malvado favorito, Lorax, Palavra cantada, O malvado favorito, Lorax, Paulie, Lorax…) e diversão. Foi também BASTANTE trabalho. E isto que éramos três cuidando deles!

Como este post marca exatamente o meio do projeto resolvi fazer uns retratos mais tradicionais das crianças. Pus uma de cada vez contra uma das portas e no final do projeto fotografarei cada um na mesma porta para ver o quanto cresceram – e como crescem rápido!

Realmente, criança cansa. Mas quando eles foram embora para casa, ambos meio grogues de sono, deu uma saudade gigante e me peguei rindo mais de uma vez das coisas que fizeram e disseram! Vai entender! 😀

This past weekend, my nephew and niece slept over at our house. They arrived on friday late afternoon and went home on sunday. It was a lot of milk, playing together, playing on the swings, tickles, movies (Despicable Me, Lorax, Despicable Me, Lorax, Despicable Me, Lorax, A Children’s Musical, Despicable Me, Lorax, Paulie, Lorax…) and lots of fun. It was also a LOT of work. And that’s because most of the time we had 3 adults taking turns in caring for them!

Since this post marks the exact middle of this project, I decided to take a more traditional approach to their portraits. I placed them against the door and will do that again at the end of the project to check how much taller they got – and my how fast they grow!

Yes, kids are a lot of work. But when they left, still sleepy on their parents’ arms, I missed them terribly and caught myself laughing more than once over what they had said and done this weekend! Go figure! 😀
